    • Math Counts will be canceled for TUESDAY.

    • Dress Code Reminder: “Leggings are permitted, but must have a top that covers the rear to knuckles length.” There are no warnings, so if you are approached, a detention will be issued and a call home for a change of clothes will be requested. THERE HAVE BEEN REPORTS OF GIRLS WEARING LEGGINGS WITHOUT SHIRTS THAT FIT DRESS CODE. You WILL be issued a detention if caught. Teachers, please do a dress code check today and send anyone who is in violation to the office.

    • There will be a meeting for all 8th grade boys interested in going out for football during 5 C in the big gym tomorrow, starting at 12:35 (or right after the track meeting).

    • There will be a call-out meeting Tuesday, Feb. 13th for any 7th or 8th grade student planning to go out for track this spring. It will be held in the BIG gym during 5C.

    • The Math Counts Club will have their end of the season pizza party on Tuesday, Feb. 20th in Mrs. McMahon’s classroom right after school until 4:15.

    • Science Olympiad: an EXTRA practice will be held on Monday, February 12 at 7 PM until 8:30 PM. All build events are highly encouraged to attend. PLEASE WORK ON YOUR EVENTS ON YOUR OWN ALSO! Regional competition is March 17, there is lots to do!

    • Congratulations to 8th graders Shelby Ham and Bethany Althauser and to 6th grader Addie Wannemacher for getting the correct answer to week 1’s Olympic Trivia questions. Scott Hamilton was born in Ohio and received 1 Gold Medal. Please come down to Mrs. Hemmelgarn’s room to receive your candy. Week 2’s Olympic Trivia question is posted on the Middle School Bulletin Board so be sure to come and submit your answer. Remember only 3 correct answers will be drawn each week. Winners will be announced on the following Monday. You can only put in one submission per week.

    • Those participating in the Talent Show there will be a mandatory practice Wednesday, February 14th, starting 8th period. - All students participating should report to Millette at that time. Practices will start during 8th period and practice will last until 4. Make sure you have all your materials with you for the practice. Talent Show will be this Friday, February 16th starting at 7th period and lasting through 8th period. Participants invite your parents to come and watch you perform at “Anna’s Got Talent!”

    • FCCLA - if you need any supplies for your STAR event, let Mrs. Wuebker know. Also, students going straight to State, there is a practice session at Regionals. If you are planning to participate, let Mrs. Wuebker know by Feb. 12th.

    • Registration for Anna Rocket Booster baseball/softball opens Feb 1st. The website for registration is www.annaboosters.com. There are flyers in the office with this information also

    • Attention MS Student Council Members- Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 13th at 7:45 a.m. Please plan to attend.

    • The next Middle School Dance will be held Saturday, February 17th from 7-9:30 in the aux gym. We are in need of snacks and drinks. Please bring your donations to Ms. Folkert’s room. Thanks!

    • Track Side Treats is now accepting applications for the upcoming season. The applications can be found in the high school office.
