Dr. Lucas has been serving students as a faculty member in the Falls School of Business since 1984.

During the course of each academic year Doyle teaches courses in the undergraduate management program, the MBA program, and the DBA program.  He also serves on doctoral dissertation committees.

Dr. Lucas has an MBA from Ball State University and a PhD in higher education administration with an emphasis in organizational behavior and theory from Indiana University.

In addition to his teaching, Dr. Lucas also serves as the director of the Doctor of Business Administration Program and also as the faculty athletic representative to the NCAA at Anderson University.  He also serves as Faculty Adviser to the Gamma Zeta Chapter of Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society in Business.

Dr. Lucas has published articles in the Christian Business Academy Review and Research on Christian Higher Education.  He serves on the Review Board of The Journal of Biblical Integration in Business (JBIB) and the Christian Business Academy Review (CBAR) 

Doyle received the 2009 Richard Chewning Award for Integration of Faith and Business from the Christian Business Faculty Association.
