The Purchasing Department is responsible for overseeing the purchasing activities of the Anaheim Elementary School District in accordance with all applicable Federal and State statutes and District regulations. Responsibilities of the Purchasing Department include purchasing or contracting for all supplies, materials, equipment, and contractual services required by the sites and departments; to operate the mail room and stores warehouse; and to deliver equipment, supplies, and materials to/from/between sites and departments; and handle the sale of surplus items.

The Department of Facilities Planning & Construction is responsible for the planning, design, funding and regulatory approvals and construction of new schools as well as the modernization and reconstruction of existing schools and support facilities.
