Weekly Update: November 27th to December 1st

o Late Start MONDAY, December 4th
Math- 2-Digit Addition (Chapter 4 in Go Math!)

~Daily Timed Tests: students must be fluent in basic math facts!
~ PLEASE spend time practicing basic addition facts!

Science: “Hey Kid What’s the Matter?” We will begin our study of physical science!
Language Arts:
Reading- We will study the difference between fiction and non-fiction text!
Tip: The goal by the end of the school year is for your child to be comfortably reading at level L or M.
Please make reading with your children at home a priority this year!! It will make a world of difference in the years to come.
Writing- Writing About Reading (opinion writing), students will learn to write an opinion piece about a book they have read.
Grammar- We will review and study all nouns and verbs.
Spelling/Phonics- This week’s words have a hard and soft c and g sound.
