Poetry Day Friday, May 11: Poetry Day, 7:45 am (see flyer below for details)
Musical May 9, 10, 11: Wednesday 5:30 , Thursday 7:00 , Friday 7:00 (see flyer below for tickets)
Wax Museum: May 22, 23, and 25 (see flyer below for details)
Field Day: Thursday, May 24
Wednesday, May 16: early dismissal
Saturday, May 19: Elementary Carnival for students invited, invitations will go home this week
Thursday, May 31: Last Day of School, dismissal 11:00 AM, Free colors day
Math: Chapter 11 : Fractions! Unit. Unit test will be Tuesday, May 15
IXL: Will be assigned only if IXL is not completed in class this week or if the extra practice is neccessary. For review at home they may work on letter T, U, and W.
Reading: Folktales and Fables Unit.
Please practice at home all of the skills when reading together.
Make sure your child is reading on a daily basis even if it is not required to send evidence of daily reading to school.
Writing: Poetry Unit!
Grammar: Continue reviewing all skills this week. If you would like your child to have extra practice at home I suggest they work on letters O, P, Q, R, S, T, U.
Spelling: -ft and -ink endings
