Wax Museum: A HUGE thank you to our amazing room moms who made our Rain forest!! It was spectacular and helped the students really get into character!
Last day of School: THURSDAY, May 31, dismissal 11:00. Students should not bring their book bag this day!
Thursday, May 31: Last Day of School, dismissal 11:00 AM, Free colors day
Math: Chapter 7: Time and Money!
IXL: In class!!
Reading: Review all skills and concepts taught!
Please practice at home all of the skills when reading together.
Make sure your child is reading on a daily basis even if it is not required to send evidence of daily reading to school.
Writing: Review of the steps of the Writing Process
Grammar: Continue reviewing all skills this week. If you would like your child to have extra practice at home I suggest they work on letters O, P, Q, R, S, T, U.
Spelling: We have the 4th quarter spelling bee!
Science: Students will share more fun facts about animals they researched and more.
The most important thing you can do this summer is READ and WRITE and do some MATH!!! Do a little 5 or 10 minutes everyday!! We have worked SO very hard to get ready for 3rd grade...PLEASE keep reading this summer!!!
School begins August 8, 2018... don't be late!
