*** Inside the homework folder you will find an EMERGENCY packet. This will need to be completed ONLY if we do not come to school! If we do come to school this packet as well as all of their notebooks and workbook need to be brought back. ***

~Friday, Jan. 26: Color's Day L.5.00

~Musical Rehearsals begin this week!

Math: Chapter 5 lessons 5.3 - 5.5. Please make sure students are reviewing at home!

IXL: No homework this week. They need to complete the ones done in class.

Reading: Continue reading chapter books to learn how to summarize and visualize.

Please practice at home all of the skills when reading together.

Raz - Kids: No homework this week.

Have them read any books they like at home! The goal is for them to enjoy reading.

Make sure your child is reading on a daily basis even if it is not required to send evidence of daily reading to school. Use the Reading Log in the Take Home Folder or read books from Raz-Kids.

Writing: Writing Biography - Research Paper.

Grammar: Continue working on adverbs this week. Focusing on HOW, WHEN, WHERE.

Spelling: Compound words

Social Studies: Parts of a map, difffernet types of map, finding places using a grid.
