Tuesday, May 1st: Labor Day! No school!

Math: Chapter 11 : Fractions!

IXL: Will be assigned only if IXL is not completed in class this week or if the extra practice is neccessary. For review at home they may work on letter T, U, and W.

Reading: Folktales and Fables Unit.

Every day we will be working on an article a day to practice fluency and reading comprehension.

Please practice at home all of the skills when reading together. Article - a - day assignment will be done in class. :)

Make sure your child is reading on a daily basis even if it is not required to send evidence of daily reading to school.

Writing: Poetry Unit!

Grammar: Continue reviewing all skills this week. If you would like your child to have extra practice at home I suggest they work on letters O, P, Q, R, S, T, U.

Spelling: No spelling this short week.

Science: Ecosystem Unit! Wax Museum coming up! More details next week...
