Earth Day Picnic! Please send cloth napkins and all food in small reusable containers. :)
Friday, April 20: Math Buddies with 4th graders
Math: Chapter 11 - 3D and 2D shapes
IXL: Will be assigned only if IXL is not completed in class this week or if the extra practice is neccessary. For review at home they may work on letter T and U.
Reading: Author's Purpose
The read Aloud for this week will be Magic Tree House book #5 Night of the Ninja, by Mary Pope Osborne. We will also continue to discuss Author's Purpose.
Make sure your child is reading on a daily basis even if it is not required to send evidence of daily reading to school.
Writing: Poetry Unit!
Grammar: Continue reviewing all skills this week. If you would like your child to have extra practice at home I suggest they work on
IXL letters O, P, Q, R, S, T, U.
Spelling: -s and -es
Social Studies: Economy Unit! We will be going on a great Field Trip Tuesday!
