Types of Precipitation

Precipitation can come in many forms such as rain, sleet, hail, freezing rain, snow. However, even though they come in different forms they all are caused by the same on going mechanism, the water cycle. How precipitation comes to be is by the air first becoming saturated→(a.k.a. extremely moist). Then, once the temperature goes to a certain level it starts to condensate→(a.k.a. water turning back into its liquid form) causing it to precipitate.
