Eclipse Information
On Monday August 21st Amherst will be in the path of a total solar eclipse.   The school district will host a viewing of the eclipse at the football field between 11:15 and 1:15.   There are risks in viewing an eclipse and if you are not comfortable with your child(ren) watching the eclipse you may keep them home that day.   Details of the event are on the attached form.  We ask that all parents read and be prepared to sign the form at the District’s Open House on Monday August 14th.  The form is due on Thursday August 17.  Thank you for your help and understanding.
