Our Scholastic Book Fair has officially come to an end!  Thank you everyone for coming out and supporting literacy and our district libraries by purchasing awesome new books!  We also had a great time with our Goodies for Grandparents event, and our visit from local author Missy Mittel.  Check out some of the pictures of our Fair and events!

  • Elementary Book Exchange - April 20th

The annual children’s used book exchange will be held during the week of April 16th – 20th. The primary goal of this activity is to put into circulation the books which children currently own but are no longer reading.

On April 17th, 18th, and 19th, (Tuesday through Thursday) there will be people stationed in the hall outside the elementary office before school to receive books brought in. Children will be given a ticket for each usable book brought in.

    Books must be:

    *children’s books, hardback or paperback

    *intact and in readable condition

    *deemed acceptable by staff members

*books that children have outgrown or no longer care about as NO BOOKS WILL BE RETURNED

On Friday, April 20th, children will have an opportunity to exchange tickets for books in the classroom section of the elementary IMC. Any leftover books will be sold during the noon hour on Monday, April 23rd, in the IMC to any student for 5 cents each.

If successful, the turnover will provide inexpensive reading for many and an opportunity to recycle books not being used. We hope to have enough books to make it a really big turnover and we encourage students to bring the same number of books as they would like to trade for new ones.

    Happy Reading!

  • Scholastic Book Fair - Feb 19 - 23, 2018
Hello!  First of all, welcome to the newly integrated website of all the Tomorrow River School District's libraries.  Information from both the elementary library, as well as the middle-high school library will be found on this site.  Our first big joint announcement is the return of the Scholastic Book Fair.  The fair runs from Monday, February 19 through Friday, February 23.  The Fair is open for a half-hour before and after school Mon-Fri (7:30-8:00 am and 3:15-3:45 pm), with Thursday and Friday also open through all of parent-teacher conferences (Thu 3:45-7:45 pm, Fri 8:00-11:30 am).  Please consider stopping by the Fair (located in the elementary library) during the week or conferences.  If you are unable to attend our physical Fair, check out our Fair website and shop online!  All books purchased online during the Fair will be shipped out once the Fair is over.  Thank you for supporting the district's libraries!
