There is a story of “Samudra Manthan” in Indian “Puranas”. When gods and demons together are churning the Ocean to get “Amrit” (Nectar of immortality), first thing which comes out of the process is “Halahala” (Poison).
This poison can destroy whole of the creation, so help is sought from “Shiva” (represents common people) who drinks the poison.
This story has been repeated through ages in many forms. You need majority of common people to take poison so that minority of gods (with the help of demons) can enjoy all the fruits of the creation.
That’s the way Universe is, equality was not in the mind of creator while creating the Universe.
We aim to reduce the suffering of common people and encourage gods (and demons) to realize how much they need the common people ...change we should, because “nothing is permanent, is the only permanent truth” ...
