TDT Dance Clinic!
You should have received your confirmation email with much of this information!
Remember to pay your $30 if you haven’t yet! Give a check to your TDT contact or go to the finance office at THS. The price goes up to $40 on the 15th so make sure to get that done!
Each day you arrive, we ask that you check in your child. We will have a check-in table just outside the dance room 109 (as you enter the main doors by the flagpole of Timpanogos High, there are some drinking fountains on the left; we are next to them!).
Plan on coming a little earlier on the first day for your first check-in!
Please have your child in clothes that are modest but that they can move in (i.e. tights and leggings and not jeans). Our classes are mostly barefoot classes, however, if you have footies/Dance-paws/footUndeez/etc. then your child can wear those. It is cold weather so please make sure they have appropriate shoes and coats as they come and leave.
We will provide a snack/drink breaks but it is still helpful (and more sanitary) if your child has their own water bottle that they can bring. No gum!
We will be handing out their shirts at the end of their last class time so make sure you go home with it as that shirt will be their costume for their halftime performance. When you come for the performance, please drop off your child (in their shirt) in the dance room but do not leave anything else with them (e.g. coats, water bottles, snacks, etc) as we will not be coming back to the dance room after the halftime. We ask that you let us prepare the dancers while you go down to the Big Gym for their performance.
Along with the shirt we will be giving each dancer a Buy-One-Get-One coupon for the varsity boys’ basketball game in which we are performing so you can more easily come watch if you desire. After all the halftime performances are completed, your child needs to be picked up at the North-West corner of the gym.

Performance/Hair and Make-up Information
We are sending your dancers home with a white T-shirt that they will need to wear for the performance. It is recommended to wear black leotard or tank top underneath it, but not necessary.
We'd also like your dancer to have black leggings/pants. Capris are acceptable as are any dark colored leggings/pants if you don't already have black pants accessible. Please try to avoid patterns and pictures on the pants when possible.
Barefoot is also preferable, but we won't say no if your dancer prefers to dance in their jazz or ballet slippers but we cannot allow socks for slipping/safety reasons.
Just some light lipstick (preferably red) and a little mascara wouldn't hurt. This is NOT essential, but it is fun to practice that dance performance face! The little, littles probably don't need anything :)
Class A (Pink Class): Pig tails
Class B (Blue Class): Pony tail
Class C (Yellow Class): Half-pony
All: Clean hair -spray/gel down whispies -just to help look a little more professional. If you would like to add any fun, special hair ties and bows, then please make them either black, white, or our school colors of navy and neon green.
