In an article called, "A New Wave of Information" it states, "When schools, families, and community groups work together to support learning, children tend to do better in school, stay in school longer, and like school more." My job is to help my students succeed not only in school, but in life and I want my students to see the application of what we learn. I intend to do this by incorporating students' interests as well as real life scenarios.
I hope this site helps YOU to succeed this year!
If you were absent from my class, click on the link above to see what in class assignments you missed and/or our homework assignments from the day.
Each term, we have certain assignments that will show up on your grade. I try to go over them at the beginning of each term, but if you have forgotten, you need to remember:
-Journals: You have a journal prompt each day.
-Alternative Book Report: Each term you need to read a book and write about it.
-Participation: You get points for your self-start and class participation.
