Argumentative Essay

Welcome to English 10's classroom website. Here, I will post assignments, announcements, helpful videos, make-up work, and all of our classroom information. Needless to say, this site is a pretty big deal. My hope is that during this year if you ever have a concern or question, you can easily find a solution on our class site. My second objective in having a class site is to help include parents in our learning experience. I believe that parents have a right to know what is being taught so that they can be involved in their child's education.

In an article called, "A New Wave of Information" it states, "When schools, families, and community groups work together to support learning, children tend to do better in school, stay in school longer, and like school more." My job is to help my students succeed not only in school, but in life and I want my students to see the application of what we learn. I intend to do this by incorporating students' interests as well as real life scenarios.

I hope this site helps YOU to succeed this year!

-Participation: You get points for your self-start and class participation.
