Membership is open to all residents of Allendale and Saddle River or residents of contiguous towns who live no more than 5 miles from our AVAC headquarters.
Additionally, employees of businesses operating in Allendale and Saddle River are welcome to apply for membership.
We have various levels of membership that will fit the needs of virtually any applicant.
What does an AVAC member do? Allendale Volunteer Ambulance Corps is a full service EMS organization made up volunteers. We provide our services to residents, visitors and business employees in Allendale and Saddle River at no cost - 24 / 7 / 365. Our membership consists of:
Members are fully trained to fill their positions with AVAC. AVAC underwrites the cost of all member training and provides monthly opportunities to augment training for members.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age in order to start EMT school. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age in order to become a driver / lifter. |
