Israel and its neighbors share water resources.  This is remarkable for two reasons.  First, with the exception of Jordan, Israel is in a perpetual state of conflict, often military, with its neighbors.  Second, the water resources they share are being withdrawn more quickly than they are being replenished.  Water, the source of all life, is being consumed unsustainably.
