Who we are:

Native Alaskan Business Leaders (NABL) is a UAF chapter of the American Indian Business Leaders (AIBL) organization. NABL supports Alaska Native and American Indian students interested in business, rural economic development, and other related areas.

What we do:

  • Engage students in business activities, building self-esteem, leadership skills, community envolvement, and teamwork.
  • Provide an extended family support system to help students facilitate the transition from life at home to life at UAF.
  • Create and maintain a strong networking system among UAF NABL members and other AIBL chapters throughout the U.S.

Award-winning:

NABL is an award-winning student organization. Achievements include:

     2013 - University Chapter of the Year; 1st Place, Business Plan Competition
     2012 - University Chapter of the Year;
                3rd Place, Business Plan                   Competition
    2010 - 1st Place, Business Plan Competition
    2006 - 1st Place, Business Plan Competition
    2002 - 3rd Place, Business Plan Competition
    2002 - Student Leader of the Year Award
    2001 - Student Chapter of the Year
    1999 - Official University Chapter Award
