An assignment is due at the beginning of the hour on the due date (regardless of the time Google Classroom marks it late).
Students are responsible for any work missed due to any excused absence, field trip, athletic event, suspension or other school related absence. That work must be completed within the number of days equivalent to the absence plus one. Students who are absent due to school business should make plans to complete their work on the assigned due date.
Tests and quizzes must be made up on the day the student returns to school from the absence. (This will most likely have to be done during academic intervention. Make plans to stay after school to make up missed tests and quizzes).
Yes, you may use the restroom before class begins. Please wait until I am finished with the lesson if you need to use the restroom during the class period.
Hallway/ Office passes are allowed on a case by case basis.
Frequent use of the restroom may result in a referral to the health center or student services department.
If you leave the room for any reason, make sure to take a pass. This will be me a visual reminder that someone is out of the room, in the case of an emergency.
Of course, on the inside cover of each book is a QR code; scan the QR code using a cell phone or other device and fill out the Google form.
The link to form can also be found under important documents under classwork on Google Classroom.
Return the book directly to Mrs. Frownfelter when you have finished reading.
Yes, check Google Classroom for your missed work. If you have further questions, talk to me before class or send me an email.
If a printed handout was given while you were away, it will be in the bin by the door. There is a folder for each class and your name should be on the paper.

Yes.
If you would like to earn credit for a late assignment ( one that I have marked "M" in the grade book), complete the missing assignment then fill out the late work submission form. I may have follow-up questions for you before I grade your work. If I need more information from you or your answers are not sufficient for me to grade your work, I will reach out to you via email.
All late work will be penalized 50% of the final grade.
All assignments must be completed before the assessment for the unit of study in which it was assigned.
Submit 1 form per late assignment.
Missed tests and quizzes should be made up upon return from an absence. Speak with your instructor to schedule a time to take the quiz/ test during intervention or before school. There is no need to submit a late work form.
All late work is due two weeks before the end of the semester. Any late work submitted after that day will only be graded if a student is in danger of failing the course after taking the final exam.
You can find your missed bell work under the week at a glance for each class using the top navigation. If the week you need no longer appears, go to your Google Classroom for English, click classwork at the top of the page, choose the week you need bell work for, and find the week at a glance link to the website. There you will find the objective for each, the bell work you missed, and the assignment for the day.
