Present position/title
Vice President-Finance & Investment, CFO/The Siam Cement Public Company Limited and President/SCG Investment from January 2011-Present

How AIT degree helped you in achieving your career potential/goals:

Beside great academic knowledge, AIT taught me how to learn and gave me a confidence that “anything can be learned” if one is interested and prepared to spend his/her time and efforts. Right after graduating from AIT, I joined SCG as a junior staff. Though I could apply some of the knowledge I learned from the school directly, there were many new things I had to learn and learning has been a part of new challenges and progress all along my career. When I was involved in a new project as a technical manager, I learned more about physics and electronics. Later on when I moved to business development job, I learned about investment and financials. When I became a Managing Director of a company, I learned much more on the soft side of the people.

The learning atmosphere at AIT broadens my experience in working with people with different thoughts and cultures, especially in the Asian context. Asia is the center of growth and will continue to be important for decades. AIT’s academic excellence is second to none while AIT is residing in Asia. I could learn from great professors from many parts of the world and enjoyed lots of activities with my friends mostly in Asia. Today, many of my friends and other alumni have become leaders of private and public organizations. The AIT network has proven to be very helpful in speeding up communication and facilitating the relationship building. There have been many issues during my career that I got help or advice from our alumni which could have been a lot more difficult for me if I did not get one.
