How AIT degree helped you in achieving your career potential/goals

Three words: competence, character and confidence. The AIT degree with its excellent programs and academic training helped develop the competence and the required skills I needed to successfully achieve my career goals. One year after my AIT graduation, I became the Dean of the College of Engineering and eventually the University President.

Being in the top position, one has to have the strength of character of which this was developed with the learning experiences and the mentoring as well as the coaching I received from AIT. The interactions I had with the outstanding professors and with students from diverse backgrounds helped broaden my horizon. It also provided me with a different outlook in life and prepared me to deal with issues from different perspectives.

The confidence, professional and personal growth I have is likely the result of the confluence of several factors that AIT has afforded me.
