It helped to give me a framework and focus on integrated rural development as the career path I wanted to pursue.



-          Bachelor of Arts, major in Economics (University of the Philippines)

-          Master of Science in Human Settlements Planning, major in Rural Development (Asian Institute of Technology)

-          Master of Public Administration (Harvard University)

-          PhD in Social Science (Pontifical Gregorian University)


Career/Accomplishment record after graduation from AIT:

-           Coordinated a network of Philippine NGOs involved in agrarian reform and rural development

-           Co-initiated the founding of a national network of peasant organizations in the Philippines

-           Co-initiated the network of diverse peasant organizations focused on agrarian reform advocacy in the Philippines

-           Started an empowerment program for migrant Filipino workers focusing on leadership, financial literacy and social entrepreneurship in Rome, Italy which covers Naples, Milan, Florence, Turin, HK, Dubai, Paris, Brussels, The Hague, Macau; for migrant families in the Philippines in: Manila, Davao, Iloilo.
