How AIT degree helped you in achieving your career potential/goals

Enhanced my analytical abilities which remained my key strengths in seeking technical and managerial solutions. As an AIT Graduate, I was always looked up professionally by my peers and superiors that proved to be my success engine in achieving goals .

i. Masters in Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, 1984 to 1986 (Structural Engineering and Construction) 
        Bachelor of Civil Engineering from NED Government College of Engineering, Karachi, 1976. First Class Third Position.
ii. Advanced Course in Administration and Development (ACAD) From National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), August 1991. 
iii. Specialized R & D Management Training Course held by Korean Industrial Technology Association, Seoul, 1995.

Career/Accomplishment record after graduation from AIT:
Completed Masters in Structural Engineering and Construction from the AIT in 1986. Achieved professional experience of 37 years including work experience in UK and Pakistan. Held the posts of Chief Research Officer and Chairperson at the Council for Works and Housing Research, conducting R & D in the field of civil engineering and contributed 22 research publications. Area of specialization is non-destructive testing of concrete structures and a number of engineers, building inspectors and technicians have been trained under my guidance for conducting NDT’s by using sophisticated testing devices. Also a recipient of the Fatima Jinnah Silver Medal awarded by the Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2006 for her contribution in Science and Technology.
