I AM SAD TO SAY THAT AFTER 13 YEARS OF SERVICE TO OVER 5000 STUDENTS IN HUNGARY, THE SHORT STORY CONTEST WILL NO LONGER CONTINUE.

I WANT TO THANK ALL OF THOSE STUDENTS, PARENTS, TEACHERS, AUTHORS, JUDGES, ADMINISTRATORS, AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORTED THIS EXCITING JOURNEY FOR THE PAST 13 YEARS!

THE CONTEST'S MAIN AIM WAS TO EXCITE YOUNG PEOPLE TO THINK AND WRITE CREATIVELY.  IT IS MY HOPE THAT THIS CONTEST PLAYED A SMALL ROLE IN HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE FIND THEIR CREATIVE VOICES.

THANK YOU,

DOUG RUDNICKI
