The School Term in Review
The term started with a bang and before we knew it.....December was staring us in the face like the bright morning sun.
September came knocking and we had no choice but to answer. All things bright and beautiful was the mood on the children's face as they made their presence felt around the school's plant. The teachers though wish they has a couple more days to rest came out ready to give of their best.
There's as saying that goes 'While you are in the midst of life there is death' and we were no exception. The news the school family was not looking for was brought to us before it was time for Prime Time News. Mrs Sylvia Clarke Martin a long serving stalwart said good bye to this world. Her passing shook the school family and surrounding community like an earthquake reading 10 points on the Richter scale. It was through the grace of God that we were able weather the storm.
The strongest soldiers get the hardest fight. We were at the edge of hurdling one hurdle when another one was set in our way. The school was up for inspection (NEI). This was another one that we had to endure as a three member team was walking through our doors. This is where the leadership of our team leader Mrs Dawn Graham proved true. Like the sails on ship we dance in the wind and landed safe on our journey.
Stephen Richards said "The true measure of success is how many times you can bounce back from failure." I will say without apology that the team at Airy Castle Primary is SUPER. The team work we possess is like no other. I want to give it up to the team as we look forward to a bright and prosperous 2020.

Principal's Message
"Being challenged in life is inevitable, being defeated is optional." It is just a few days away from the start of the new school year and i am excited! The challenges have begun, but it is a concerted choice that we here at Airy Castle Primary School have made not to be defeated. We will use the challenges as stepping stones in order to achieve success.
I want to hasten to welcome the new parents who have made the choice to send your child or children to this 'school of choice'. We can assure you that we will do our best to ensure your child's stay at this institution is a pleasant and rewarding one. As I always say, It takes a whole village to raise a child so you will be a very crucial part in the education process. I want o urge you to let your presence be felt at school. Be an active part of the school's activities.
Remember, united we stand, divided we fall. UNITY IS STRENGTH. With God as our leader, we will stand against ALL ODDS.
Blessings all.
