Lua

Lua <http://www.lua.org> is a scripting language with an unusually high power to size ratio.  I've been programming in Lua since December 2010.

All code on this page is made available under the zlib/libpng license <http://www.opensource.org/licenses/Zlib>.

printable is a module for working with printable tables, i.e. tables that can be converted to readable text by using the standard library function tostring.  It achieves its functionality by exploiting the __tostring and __index metamethods.  Its primary purpose is not to serialize tables — that can better be done as described on <http://lua-users.org/wiki/TableSerialization — but to carry the information on how to display table contents inside the table itself.

vilua is a modification of Steve Donovan's ILua interactive interpreter with graphics capabilities implemented as a Löve game.  You've got ILua running in a terminal and Löve in a graphics window.

luatango is a package of routines for the multiple subset sum problem, including applications to the solution of Sudoku and Kakuro problems.  Part of the code is in C. luatango-src contains the source in Anansi and Pandoc; you don't need it, it's just here as a demo.
