The Ohana is the parent organization of ʻĀhuimanu Elementary School that is made up of parents and members of the school's faculty that volunteer for a number of positions on the Ohana Board.

The Ohana's Mission is to work with parents and community members to support the ʻĀhuimanu School Vision and Mission to make a positive impact on the educational and social development of the students at ʻAhuimanu Elementary School and provide an effective support network for the teachers and administration.

The Ohana meets on a monthly basis to discuss the various school activities that the Ohana supports. The Ohana makes numerous contributions to the school throughout the School year and provides additional resources for classrooms, teachers, and students. The Ohana oversaw the installation of the Fitness Center that is behind the cafeteria and have recently provided funds for classroom projectors and Elmos.

The School Community Council has a key role in designing and implementing ʻAhuimanuʻs Academic and Financial Plan to improve student achievement. Students, parents, community members, teachers, staff and administration have representatives on the SCC.
