Key Headlines:

·         Progress 8: (first grade)has significantly increased from - 0.20 2013/14 to 0.16 in 2014/15

On average the VA score for the number of entries is 0.36 just over a third of a subject above the national average for the students with the same intake. This is equivalent to about 1 subject more for every 3 students. This is significantly above since 2014 (-0.15) the grades achieved in the subjects taken are 0.08 which is just above than the national average again, this is better than 2014 (-0.29).  

Overall, this results in the progress 8 score of 0.16 which, compared to all schools, puts NTA in the first quadrant (SEE GRAPH BELOW) (rank of 35), comparing this to the year before this is a significant increase where it was -0.2 3rd quadrant



·                   Ebacc: - percentage of Ebacc has increased from 9% in 2014 to 14% in 2015 (increase of 5%), National 24%

·         A*-C in any Science 80% nationally this is only 69%, above national by 11%

·         A*- C in MFL  85%, Nationally this is 70% above National by 15%

·         A*-C in Geography 81%,  National figure is 67% above National by 14%

·         A*-C in ICT 80%,  National figure is 69% above National by 11%

·         Students making expected progress in English in 2015 was 74% nationally this was 69% above national by 5%

·         Students making more than expected progress in English in 2015 was 35% nationally this was 30% above national by 5%
