Principal's Welcome

Interim Principal - Mr Roger Gilbert

I would like to welcome you to the Millbrook Academy website and introduce myself as Interim Principal for the Academy.

I joined Millbrook on Monday 2 March and have already been impressed with the way in which the students and staff are committed to being the best they can be. This might be a very simple and straightforward philosophy but I view it to be essential in ensuring that every child in the Academy is given every opportunity to be able to do just that.

I was Principal of my previous school, an Academy in South Gloucestershire, for almost 10 years, and I hope to be able to bring that experience to benefit the young people of the Academy, and the community it serves, in the time I have here. The students are the most important people at Millbrook and deserve the best we can give them, both as education professionals and parents, in partnership.

Mr Roger Gilbert
