Governing Body Members

The overarching responsibility for Governance of the academy lies with the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET) Board of Trustees.

We run a joint JCC with St Helen's Primary Academy and Shafton Primary Academy. Meetings are scheduled once a term: October 2019, March 2020 and June 2020.

Our Governing Body meetings are usually held in the evening on termly basis and dates and times can be found in the calendar on the home page. We attend training sessions and seminars to help us keep up to date with changes in schools and education and to help us do our job effectively. We also go into the academy to meet with the head teacher, other members of staff and scholars to help us find out how the school is progressing towards its targets.
