Welcome to the Beacon Academy Loughborough

Making our Best Better

We believe this means to us, all children will:

* Gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to fulfill their potential and strive to exceed this daily in all that they do.
* Develop a love of learning and enjoy their time at the Academy through a creative and innovative curriculum and use new ideas and technology.
* Make lifelong friends and develop a respect for all in our community, with our inclusive provision where every child has a personalised learning journey.
* Have a variety of exciting experiences and develop their understanding of the wider world; enjoy enterprise experiences and skills to broaden their horizons.

We will work closely with families, the Academies Enterprise Trust, the local community, our network of schools and Academies in this shared endeavour.

Message from Mark Roberts, Executive Headteacher

It is with great pride and privilege that I introduce myself to you as Executive Head of Beacon Academy.  I have already experienced, in the very short time I have been here, a vibrant, purposeful and positive atmosphere where every child is treated as an individual, where every child is encouraged to fulfil their potential and where every child matters.

The staff at Beacon are professional, dedicated and hardworking and I am delighted to be joining colleagues who share my passion for ensuring our pupils are equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence that will enable them to play a full and active role in the modern world.

I look forward to working with staff, pupils and parents in the coming months and supporting the Academy in sustaining the rapid progress made in recent months.

Head Teacher's Welcome

Beacon Academy is a busy, hardworking and creative academy comprising nursery, mainstream primary and moderate learning specialist unit. We take pride in our work, have high expectations and enjoy celebrating children's achievements.

We are always striving to make our best even better and we do this by focussing in on our creative curriculum and passion for engaging children to enjoy their learning and preparing them for life after school. We have a wonderful nursery with provision for some early year specialist provision places.
