Under California Law, the Board of Trustees has complete fiduciary responsibility and programmatic accountability for the operations of the schools to State agencies. The Board of Trustees consists of five persons with the skills and experiences that benefit the development of the schools. Board meetings are held monthly and are open to the public. Agendas are posted 72 hours in advance of meetings.
The School Site Councils work directly with the school principals to inform and direct their decisions. Through a process of committees, the SSC meets monthly with the administrators to inform policy decisions that influence student safety, curriculum and student achievement and human resources. This is the perfect forum for parents to get involved and informed about critical issues that will impact the quality of your child’s education. Contact the front office if you wish to volunteer to serve on the School Site Councils or any of its committees.
