Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include developing and maintaining detailed reports including a Weekly Statistical report, security appliance reports, graphical summary reports, reports on devices which are end of life (EOL), MAC (Moves, Adds and Changes) Time resolution, etc.
  • Performing analysis of data and making recommendations for improvements. Examples include:
    • Review reports for Firewall rules, Network routes, Security Appliances, and performance Appliances; provide analysis and make recommendations on optimizing the network in relation to these areas.
    • Create and maintain a diagram of the Network and Security and Appliances.
    • Create and maintain inventory of the network devices and appliances

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated excellence in communications and documentation skills.
  • Strong ability to operate as part of a multi-functional team.
  • Experience serving as an escalation point for performance issues and ensuring their resolution.
  • Knowledge of and experience with enterprise storage, SAN, and operating systems to include windows and Linux.
  • Experience analyzing and resolving tickets with limited external support
  • Experience with the following tools and technologies: 
    • Cisco Network and Security technologies
    • McAfee security technologies
    • Tivoli technologies

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience operating in a DevOps environment for a minimum of twelve months preferred.
  • Experience with database technologies including Oracle, SQL, MySQL, Seibel, or IBM DB2 preferred.

Security Clearance

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a Public Trust designation
  • Current DHS EOD suitability highly desired

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2-4 years of related experience.
