Responsibilities:

  • The Help Desk Specialist is the first line for IT responsible for solving basic technical problems and providing support for all assigned areas while ensuring that customer service is maintained at a high level in line with company standards.
  • Provide phone, email, web, and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, computer operating systems, desktop applications for all types of computer systems, and applications developed or deployed.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software, all types of computer systems (PC and Mac), and printer problems.

 Requirements

  • Associates degree in related field. 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in providing help desk support
  • Proficiency in Windows 7, 8, Office 2010 and 2013, have a working knowledge of help desk software and remote control solutions
  • Demonstrated client-facing and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve
