I hope you're all enjoying your summer and getting outside! I love the outdoors and have spent lots of time hiking with my husband, our daughters, and dog. In addition to teaching, I love cooking and baking and have found more time to work on these hobbies since March 2020.
I'm looking forward to meeting you all this fall! This is my eighteenth year teaching and my tenth year at Legacy. I've taught all levels of high school math and I'm so excited to be teaching Freshman L2k, AP Precalculus, and Calculus 2 this year.
I have always loved math, I love the logical component, the problem-solving, and how our universe follows the laws of mathematics. I enjoy the challenge and satisfaction of solving problems, I did every puzzle I could get my hands on as a kid, I still do jigsaw puzzles in my free time. I love that you can approach problems differently and have different lines of thinking and arrive at correct and valid solutions. I'm looking forward to sharing more math with all of you!
Life is short
and we do not have too much time
to gladden the hearts of those
who travel with us.
So be swift to love
and make haste to by kind.
