Recently Horizon High School's SOAR Program decided to create a “prom” called FUSE for kids with special needs that may otherwise feel uncomfortable at other dances or events. The dance was hosted by The Chateaux at Fox Meadows on April 9, 2017. The purpose of this event was to create a more inviting environment for the kids, so they can have a fun night and enjoy the dance.

NEW K-8 IN ANTHEM TO HELP WITH ROCKY TOP CROWDS

In the 2016-2017 school year, there has been an insane amount of growth of the population in Rocky Top Middle School in Thornton. With a very big amount of new 6th graders that are attending the 2016-2017 school year. Not only does the school have to take care of all of the 6th graders, they have to take care of all the 7th and 8th graders going to the school as well..


There isn’t going to be a way that Rocky Top middle school would stop accepting students. So there has to be another alternative for students to choose. The new groundbreaking of the Anthem P-8 school is scheduled to groundbreak in April and open for the school year of 2017-2018. The cost of the new school plans to be 31M-36.5M dollars. That means there is going to be a lot of room for the students. But how many students does the school actually plan to hold?

Some might say he’s the biggest cry baby in the league of football. Some might say he’s the best quarterback to walk on the field since John Elway, and Joe Montana. But age affects everyone, even Tony Romo, and the best trained athletes. Health problems get worse as you get older, but especially when you're getting hit by 350 pound linemen, or a 250 pound linebacker. Wouldn’t you expect to have health problems after a while? Romo broke his back early 2016 pre season according to Forbes. Romo had to sit out most of the season, but Dak Prescott, a rookie, proved himself, not only to his coaches, and teammates, but to the NFL, and had started the rest of the year for the Dallas Cowboys. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST BREAKING BARRIERS Madison Strasheim

In the newest Disney live-action movie Beauty and the Beast, fans have observed that the character LeFou appears to be attracted to Gaston.

The character LeFou is portrayed by the actor Josh Gad, who also voices the character Olaf in Disney’s Frozen. LeFou is constantly following Gaston around in the film. Complimenting him, and making sure that Gaston at least tries to get over Belle everytime he gets rejected.  However at Belle and the Beast’s wedding, he runs into the character Stanley and they start dancing.
