We are excited to share information about the new Kaiser Permanente Colorado Bridge Program. This is a new health insurance option designed for students and adults (under the age of 35) who are not eligible for federal health insurance programs (typically non-citizens). I've attached a bilingual brochure with income guidelines and other eligibility criteria. Just like all open enrollment with the Affordable Care Act, families MUST APPLY BY.
As you would for any other student/family in need of health insurance, please make a referral to the Student and Family Outreach Program so we can provide application assistance if you think a family may be eligible for this program: https://www.adams12.org/health_insurance_referral.

School checXchange Program:
Adams 12 Five Star School District is always looking for ways to be more efficient and effective in our fiscal policies. While it may seem like a minor issue to some, the collection of non-sufficient fund (NSF) checks is a time consuming and costly issue. As with any business, the district has an obligation to our clients and the community's taxpayers, to be fiscally accountable. Collecting returned checks can take valuable time from the school district personnel. To manage this process, our District will be using cheXchange.
