ACS TO HOST FARMER'S MARKET


Annunciation has been asked to host the Farmer’s Market that will be held in Goodyear Park this Saturday from 9:00-12:00. The various school groups are planning to set up booths. 4H plans to sell plants. Beta will sell flags for Veterans’ Day. And Sunny will sell her delicious cupcakes. Cajun Canvas will be there with things to paint, and Young Americans Believe Camp participants will perform. There is also a program called Walking with a Doc where you can walk the track with a doctor from the hospital. The weather is supposed to be nice. Please wear an ACS shirt and come out to support the school groups and have fun with your family.

BETA MOVIE NIGHT
Friday night will be Beta Movie night beginning at 6:00 P.M. Bring a sleeping bag, bean bag, or comfortable chair and enjoy a night with your family. Concessions will be sold and price of admission is $5.00. All students in PreK through first grade grade MUST be accompanied by an adult. All proceeds go to the ACS Beta Club.


SSA OPEN HOUSE
St. Scholastica Academy in Covington will host Open House for young ladies who are considering a Catholic High School education on Thursday, November 2nd from 4:00-7:00 PM. I encourage all 6th and 7th grade girls to visit.
ACS WILL BE CLOSED ON MONDAY

ACS will be closed on Monday. The staff members will be on a Retreat in New Orleans. Archbishop Gregory Aymond will address us and celebrate Mass. Please join us in prayer as we pray for our school and all our ACS families.

ACS Veterans’ Day Program 

Please invite all Veterans and First Responders to the ACS Veterans’ Day Program on Friday, November 10th at 9:15 AM. We are selling American Flags for $2.00 in honor/memory of veterans. All proceeds will be given to the American Legion to help with the Ponemah Wreath Society. Information is provided on the back of this letter explaining this project.

ACS FALL FESTIVAL & BOOK FAIR

Do not forget that the ACS Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, November 11th from 5:00-8:00 with the Costume Contest at 6:00. Room Mothers will be in touch to line up volunteers for the booths. And we will need cakes, cookies, cupcakes, etc. for the Cake Walk. Bert Burr will be here to take professional fall portraits of your family. And the Wild West Book Fair will be set up in the cafeteria beginning at 5:00. Be the first to see what Mr. Derik has to offer.
