Father Bru’s White Bean/Jambalaya Dinner is Sunday.  If you have not turned in your money and tickets, please do so tomorrow.  Our goal is 1,000 dinners, and we still have tickets available.

On Saturday morning at 9:00, we need volunteers to slice cake and unload/set up pots, etc. On Sunday, Father will celebrate Mass at 4:00 AM for the men who will cook.  Cooking starts around 5:00 AM. ALL ACS men are encouraged to come and help. If you cannot arrive at 5:00, come as early as you can. There is a lot of stirring required, and all help is appreciated.  Those who are helping to serve, need to arrive around 9:30 to help set up. Although tickets say 11:00, people start arriving by 10:30. We need LOTS of help to serve up 1,000 dinners and pass them out in two hours.  Join us as soon as you get out of church. We stay until everything is cleaned up. So, there are lots of jobs you can assist with. High school students are encouraged to volunteer and receive service hours. This is a great opportunity to get to know members of the ACS family.  I sincerely appreciate any assistance you can render.

Thanks to those who volunteered to serve as Room Moms this year.  We will meet Friday at 2:00. If you cannot attend, I will send your information home with your child.  Special thanks to Katrina Mitchell who is serving as Room Mom Chairperson again this school year.

Our first Flag Football game is Monday at 4:30 behind the YMCA.  Come join us as we cheer on the ACS Crusaders. We have an energetic group of players, cheerleaders, and pep squad members. Thanks for all the parents who support our sports teams.

We have received 80th Anniversary mugs that were designed by Derik Thompson.  They show the original school as well as the church and the 80th logo.  Cost is $10.  Mugs can be purchased in the office. We have a limited number.  If you would like one, stop by or send your money in an envelope.
