Remember that the Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough Sale ends on Monday, October 8th.  Please wrap up your orders and turn everything in to Ms. Pat on time.  The order will be placed before Fair break and delivery is in November-just in time for holiday baking.

The Fall Festival is approaching on Saturday, October 6th from 5:00-8:00 PM. This school wide family event requires the help of all families.  Room Mothers are lining up volunteers to run booths. Please plan to attend. There will be delicious food and fun activities for all ages.  The Costume Contest is at 6:00 and Bert Burr will be there to take beautiful fall family pictures. Invite your friends and neighbors to enjoy the festivities!

Beta Club is conducting a Food Drive this week for the Bogalusa Help Center.  Our goal is to have food across the cafeteria stage. Please send non-perishable food items by noon on Friday to help with this worthwhile project.

Bert Burr will take individual and group photos of the students on Tuesday morning after Mass.  The order forms are being sent home today. Please return them by Tuesday morning.

The ACS Pet Blessing is scheduled for Friday, October 5th at 2:00.  All leashed or caged pets brought to school by an adult are welcome to attend. This is a great opportunity for the students to get to show off their family pets.  This is a much anticipated annual event. Please try to attend.

There are already confirmed cases of flu reported in Bogalusa. Please encourage your child to wash their hands and not share food items.  Nurses from Our Lady of the Angels Hospital will give flu shots to adults and children in the ACS Library beginning at 3:00PM on Tuesday, October 9th.  Parents must accompany any child receiving shots.  All you need to do is bring your insurance card. There are also a few students who are not current on immunizations.  These families were notified several weeks ago. This needs to be taken care of before the Fair break. Your child’s health and well being are important to us at ACS.
