Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week at Annunciation. Each class has taken turns monthly by providing us with a delicious lunch, and we are grateful for your generosity. Fourth grade will complete this next Thursday.

Next year, Annunciation Catholic School will participate in a review by the AdvancED organization. Part of this process is the completion of surveys by students and parents. Students will complete their forms at school. You will receive information to submit yours soon. Please take the time to give us honest and fair feedback. We constantly strive to improve our school, your opinions count.

Bert Bur took wonderful class group pictures last fall in the church. We sent you order forms for those last week. This week, we are sending order forms for the annual cross picture of all the students and staff together in church. Please return all order forms and by next Friday so that we can get your pictures done before May 30th.

Tomorrow is the last Domino’s Pizza Day for this school year. Ask family and friends to support our school by ordering Pizza. We receive 20% of the order, and the class that purchases the most will receive a Pizza Party from Domino’s. April’s winning class was third grade.

The 81st Children’s Coronation is Saturday in the Bogalusa High School Auditorium beginning at 6:00. This year’s theme is “Once Upon a Holiday”. I hope you will join us for Bogalusa’s oldest tradition. Tickets are on sale in the ACS Office for $5.00. Price at the door is $6.00. Save some money and avoid the line by purchasing ahead of time. Practice for the Coronation is Thursday at 4:30.

On the May calendar, there is parent lunch for kindergarten listed. This is a mistake. The kindergarten parent lunch was completed in conjunction with the Mother Goose Parade. Sorry if that caused confusion! Speaking of lunch, all lunch payments must now be made on line or by cash. No checks are accepted in May. All students must eat lunch either from home or from the cafeteria. A few students have decided they do not want to eat at all. This is NOT allowed. Thanks for your cooperation.
