Thanks for completing the recent Parent Survey that was sent to you before the Easter break. The ACS staff, Advisory Board, and Father Bru are in the process of reviewing your suggestions to see what we can do to make ACS a better learning environment for your child. One item that always comes up on surveys is the need for fundraising. Until the enrollment at ACS nears 200 students, fundraising will be necessary. Even with the interest from the Frank MontalbanoTrust, there is a budget shortfall. There is a Fundraising meeting tonight at 6:00 in the cafeteria for the purpose of disclosing financial information and discussing fundraising options for next year. I hope that you can attend to have your questions answered.

Children’s Coronation tickets are on sale in the ACS office for $5.00. Price at the door Saturday night is $6.00. Stop by school to purchase your ticket. You will save a little money and not have to stand in line Saturday night at the BHS Auditorium. The 80th Children’s Coronation begins at 6:00. This year’s theme is “Around the World in Eighty Days”. This is Bogalusa’s oldest on-going tradition. I hope you will join us for an enjoyable evening.

We still have 10 boxes of assorted World’s Finest Chocolate bars for sale. Top selling winners will be announced on Friday, May 5th. If you can sell any more, call Terry and we will gladly send a box home with your child. Thanks for your help with this fundraiser.

We are sending home the calendar for May. Where has this year gone? You will notice there is an activity almost every day. Please refer to it daily so that your child will be ready to participate in the many activities as we close out school year 2016-17.

Friday is the last day Lori Creel will accept check for lunch payment. It is a Archdiocese Policy that during the month of May, only cash can be collected for lunch payments.

Thursday and Friday are visitation days in PreK. New students who are registered for next year have received invitations to attend. If you know someone who plans to send their PreK student and has not received the invitation, tell them to call the office.
