Today was the Middle School Biography Fair. This is an anticipated event at ACS. Congratulations to the students for a job well done. It also signals the beginning of end of year activities. This year has flown by. The next few weeks leading up to May 30th will be action packed.

Students in grades 3-6 will take ACT Aspire Achievement Tests beginning on Monday morning. Please see that your child is well rested, well fed, and on time. There are NO make-up days, and students will not be admitted to the classrooms once the tests begin. Thanks for your cooperation.

Mr. Derik asked me to remind everyone about the ACS Talent Show that will take place in May. It is not too early for students to begin preparing their acts. I know one class has decided on a skit, and they are already practicing. Contact Mr. Derik with your ideas. This is a highlight of the school year.

Visitation Days for Registered New PreK students will be Thursday, April 26th and Friday, April 27th. If you know any family considering ACS for their PreK child next year, please encourage them to contact Ms. Pat so that their child can participate.

Spring and Children’s Coronation t-shirt orders are due on Friday. Coronation shirts can be worn the week before the Coronation, which is on Saturday, May 5th; and spring shirts can be worn with uniform bottoms and shoes during the month of May.

Ads are being sold for the Coronation Program. Please check the information being sent home to you today.

Beta Movie Night is Friday beginning at 6:00 pm. Cost is $5.00 and concession items will be available for purchase.

Since we were on break last week, tomorrow will be Domino’s Pizza Day. Mention ACS when you order, and the school gets 20% of your order. First grade won the pizza party last month for purchasing the most pizza during our Domino’s Day. Ms. Sunny says that third grade has never won. So, third grade parents, let’s see if you can encourage friends and neighbors to eat pizza tomorrow for third grade!
