Do not forget that Annunciation is participating in the Clean City Contest for the City of Bogalusa. Send me pictures of your family planting flowers, cleaning your yard, etc. so that I can forward them to Landen Tims to include in the city’s scrapbook.

Students are encouraged to bring in posters depicting the theme “Be Part of the Solution, Not the Pollution” by Friday. These posters will be hung at City Hall for the judges to view when they visit Bogalusa the first week of April. Students who bring in posters have Free Dress on Friday and will receive a popsicle at recess. Thanks for your help with this worthwhile project.

Student Council is raffling an Easter bucket to benefit Alaina Nielsen’s upcoming Mission trip. One hundred percent of funds raised will be used to purchase items to send with her this summer. If you have not seen the bucket, let me say that it is gorgeous and is filled with wonderful items. Chances are $.50 and will be sold until next Thursday.

Report cards will go home on Friday. It is hard to believe that we are in the last nine weeks of school year 2017-18. For those of you planning vacations, the students will not attend school on Memorial Day, May 28th, and the last day for students is Wednesday, May 30th. Dismissal on that day is 11:00.

Do not schedule vacations, appointments, etc. April 16th through April 20th or April 30th through May 4th because students will be taking achievement tests. There are NO make up days. Thanks for your cooperation.

Mr. Derik is getting excited about the Spring Book Fair. Be sure to read his flier that is going home today. Book Fairs at ACS are always exciting and educational. There is nothing better than books in an Easter basket. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to visit and purchase books.

Easter/Spring Break begins at 12 noon on Thursday, March 29th, and classes resume on Monday, April 9, 2018. There will be NO Aftercare next Thursday.
