Thanks to everyone for the amazing amount of Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough that you sold. Ms. Pat is still counting orders and money. I will give you a final total when it is complete. Delivery is scheduled for Wednesday, October 25th. We will need volunteers that day to help with distribution.
Domino’s Pizza Day
Tomorrow is the first Thursday of October which means it is Domino’s Pizza Day. Mention the school when you place your order, and we receive 20% of your order. The class that buys the most receives a free pizza party. September’s winner was Mrs. Byrd’s PreK. Encourage your family and friends to eat Domino’s pizza tomorrow!

Fall Festival this Saturday

Saturday is the Fall Festival. Tickets are on sale in the office at a reduced price—22 for $10. Send your money in an envelope and Ms. Terry will send your tickets. This will save you a little money and you will not have to stand in line. Pumpkin Contest is Thursday. Pumpkins can be dropped off in the cafeteria. Baked goods such as cakes, pies, brownies, cupcakes, and brownies are needed for the Cake Walk. These can be dropped off in the cafeteria on Friday. I know the Room Moms have assigned everyone a time to work, and we need men to help cook the food. Wayne Palmer and Joe Culpepper are in charge of the food booth at the KC pavilion. Bert Burr will be here to take Fall Portraits of your family. Derik Thompson will provide entertainment. There will be games, jumpers, and the video game bus. The Carnival begins at 5 and ends at 8. Pumpkins can be taken home that night—especially if you plan to enter yours in the Pumpkin Contest at the Fair. There will be delicious food and fun for the whole family. Please come out to enjoy the night and support our school.
Grandparent’s Day

Grandparent’s Day Celebration is Friday, October 27th beginning in the church at 1:15. Be sure you have notified grandparents so that they can attend this joyful event. Room Mothers will be contacting you about refreshments in the near future.

Beta Club News
Beta Club is collecting items for the Magnolia Chapter of the Humane Society of Louisiana Washington Parish. Letters were sent home this week. We appreciate anything you can do to help this worthwhile cause. This is the week of St. Francis of Assisi’s feast day. We are celebrating all of God’s creatures great and small through this drive and last week’s pet blessing.
