Thanks to everyone who sold or helped with the distribution . All items were supposed to be picked up by four o’clock. If for some reason yours was not, come to ACS as soon as possible tomorrow. We have limited refrigeration.

Friday is Grandparents’ Day. Be certain that you have invited all of your child’s grandparents. We begin in the church at 1:15. The reception will follow in the cafeteria. Bert Burr will be available for family portraits. If you pay ahead of time for a group picture, be certain you have told the grandparents so that they will know ahead to plan for the picture. The Room Mothers will serve as hostesses for this special event. Thanks to all of you who donated money or refreshments.

Next week is Spirit Week. Children are encouraged to wear the appropriate clothes daily. Refer to the calendar for daily attire. We will attend Mass on Wednesday, November 1st for All Saints Day. The students are encouraged to dress as their favorite saint. After Mass, they can change into their uniforms and Wild Socks.

Pope John Paul High School in Slidell Open House is Thursday night beginning at 6:30. Open House for St. Paul High School in Covington begins at 1:00 on Saturday afternoon. I suggest that you attend both of these if you are interested in a Catholic High School placement for your child.

ACS will be the hosting organization for the Farmer’s Market on Saturday, November 4th. All the student organizations and teachers are planning special booths. Families who attend will receive special prizes for participation. Come and bring a friend!

The Fall Festival is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th in the church parking lot from 5:00-8:00 PM. Once the Room Mothers take care of Grandparents’ Day, they will remind you of your duties for the Festival. Plan to attend for a night of delicious food and family fun.
