Thanks to everyone who attended the Parent Back to School meetings.  I hope we were able to answer your questions and address any concerns you might have had. Thanks also to everyone who came to the Welcome Back to School Mass on Saturday.  Starting the 80th year of Annunciation with Archbishop Gregory Aymond was a special honor.

Friday, August 30th is the last day of ACS After Care.  There were not enough regular students enrolled for this service, and we are losing money. It is imperative that all students be picked up by 3:15 every day.  Sorry for the inconvenience. Please make your plans accordingly.

If you have sold your White Bean/Jambalaya tickets, please send your money to Ms. Pat.  We still have more to sell. Our goal this year is 1,000 dinners. So, keep asking neighbors and friends to support ACS in a delicious way. I am sending an extra note asking for volunteers to help on Saturday, September 7th and Sunday, September 8th.  This is a great way to become acquainted with the ACS family.  High school students are encouraged to help and receive service hours for their assistance.

You are invited to attend the Pope John Paul “Vitality Summit” on Wednesday, August 28th in the PJP gym at 6:00 P.M.  If you are considering PJP for your child’s high school education, this would be a great opportunity to hear about the school’s future plans.

Katrina Mitchell will serve as Room Mother Chairperson again this school year.  Many of you indicated on the volunteer form that you would like to serve on this important committee.  If anyone else is interested, please let me know this week. We will meet soon to discuss upcoming events.

We are still missing some completed forms and emergency cards.  If you still have any to complete, we ask that you return them as soon as possible. Thanks!
