Spring Gala/Auction Thanks

Thanks to everyone who participated in the ACS Spring/Gala Auction. There were lots of wonderful items to bid on—thanks to the work of our fantastic parents. From the gift cards, scratch-offs, and auction baskets, every family contributed to this fundraiser. Ms. Pat is still gathering expenses. If we owe you money, please bring the receipts to the office this week. As soon as we know the profit amount, we will inform you. Again, thanks from the bottom of my heart.

No School on Friday
All Catholic School staff members on the Northshore will gather on Friday at Our Lady of the Lake for a day long Retreat and Mass. There will be NO classes at ACS. Please make your plans accordingly. Since we will not be here on St. Patrick’s Day, students can wear green shirts Thursday with uniform bottoms.

Coronation Shirts
Children’s Coronation shirt orders are due tomorrow. These can be worn to school the week before the Coronation.

Easter Pics
Bert Burr and the Easter Bunny will be in the ACS Cafeteria on Monday morning, March 20th, to take Easter/Spring pictures. Children taking pictures can remain in their “pictures clothes”, or you are welcome to change them in to other spring clothing for the remainder of the day. Order forms are going home today.
Memorial Golf Tournament

Saturday, March 25th is our next big fundraising effort. The Kathy Arlt/William Nielsen Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled for the Bogalusa Country Club. Tee time for this two man scramble is 12 noon. Cost is $100 per golfer which includes mulligans. Cash prizes are awarded at the conclusion of the tournament. There will be lots of food, beverages, and good fun. Even if you do not play, stop by to visit.

ACS Aspire Tests Approaching
ACT Aspire Achievement Tests are fast approaching. Students in grades 3-6 will be tested April 3-7, 2017. Please do not schedule appointments or trips during this time because there are no make-ups.

Arthur Visit Tomorrow
Tomorrow is a special day at ACS because guest author Michelle Hirstius is bringing Ju-Ju to visit the lower classes. We are attaching forms if you are interested in purchasing the book that will be read. Many of you have already done so.
