It hardly seems possible that it is time for the last “pink” letter for school year 2018-19. I hope your summer vacation is filled with blessings of good health and fun times.  Thanks for all your support, love, and patience this school year. I appreciate all your help with fundraisers, Carnivals, Auctions, Grandparents’ Day, and especially the monthly Parent Lunches.  ACS is lucky to have wonderful parents like you.

End of Year Awards will be given out tomorrow in church beginning at 9:00.  Dismissal is at 11:00.

If your child does not attend school on Thursday, be sure to come by school for the report card packet.  It will contain supply and reading lists that you need before school begins in August. The ACS Office will be open from 8:00-11:00 beginning Monday, June 3rd through Friday, June 14th.  Please stop by to pick up report cards, browse through free uniforms, or just say “Hello”.

Here are some dates for next year that you need to mark down:

Tuesday, July 30th  at 5:30 PM will be Safe Environment Training in Bogalusa at ACS.  This training is required every three years for adults who want to chaperone field trips, attend overnight trips, volunteer in the classroom, coach any sport, or substitute in classrooms.  It is only offered in Bogalusa this one time. If you do not attend, you will have to go out of Washington Parish to receive the certification. Plan now to take advantage of this convenient opportunity.

Tuesday, August 6th at 5:30 PM is Back to School Meet and Greet to drop off school supplies before the chaos of the first day-which is Wednesday, August 7th.

Next year will be the 80th Anniversary of ACS.  We will kick off the celebration with a 4:00 PM Mass celebrated by Archbishop Gregory Aymond on Saturday, August 17th. Plan to come and help us pack the church.
