We received our final report from the AdvancED review.  ACS passed with flying colors. Thanks to everyone who assisted in this process. We will analyze the findings over the summer and implement any recommended changes.

Prizes for selling one and two boxes of World’s Finest Chocolate have been given out.  If your child did not get his/hers, please let us know so that we can finish. All candy money needs to be submitted by Friday.  The top five prizes will be given on Tuesday. Thanks for your help. We still have three boxes of Chocolate Covered Almonds. Let us know if you can sell any of these.

As you may already know, Annunciation was broken into this past weekend.  Four Chromebooks were stolen from first grade, and everything was plundered through.  It could have been worse. I appreciate all of you who called or stopped by to check on us.  We are currently receiving bids on security cameras. It is a sad situation that security measures are needed at a church school.

Uniform exchange has begun on the cafeteria stage.  You are welcome to drop off gently used items that your child no longer needs and browse through what is there that you can use for next school year. This will continue until the middle of June.

Students do not attend school on Monday in observance of Memorial Day. Teachers will be here to finish paper work and report cards. The last day of school is Thursday, May 30th.  Awards will be given out in church at 9:00 with 11:00 dismissal. Report cards will be given out on the last day. If your child does not attend that day, come by ACS to pick up the report card packet. Read all the information that will be in the envelope.  There is important information regarding supplies, summer reading requirements, and uniforms. Some families never even pick the report cards up.

Summer office hours are 8:00-11:00 beginning Monday, June 3rd and will continue until Friday, June 14th.

Enjoy your long weekend!
